Literature # TM492
The T Cell Activation Bioassay (IL-2), is a bioluminescent cell-based assay that overcomes the limitations of existing assays and can be used for the discovery and development of novel biologic and cell therapies aimed at inducing, strengthening and/or engineering T cell responses. The assay consists of a genetically engineered Jurkat T cell line that expresses a luciferase reporter driven by an IL-2 promoter. The TCR/CD3 Effector Cells (IL-2) are provided in a thaw-and-use format as cryopreserved cells that can be thawed, plated and used in an assay without the need for cell propagation.
This Technical Manual is relevant for Cat.# J1651 and J1655; J1656 (Korea); J1657 (Taiwan).
