Abstract

In this article, we present a series of validation studies to showcase the performance of the Maxwell® RSC 48 Instrument with the Maxwell® FSC DNA IQ™ Casework Kit for genomic DNA extraction and purification from forensic-type samples. These studies are based on requirements listed in the FBI Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic DNA Testing Laboratories and guidelines outlined by the Scientific Working Group on DNA Analysis Methods.
