Literature # TM724

The Maxprep® Liquid Handler automates normalization and post-processing setup of PCR and short tandem repeat (STR) amplification reactions, which may include sample normalization, master mix preparation, standard curve serial dilution and controls placement. Up to a 4,500- fold dilution can be achieved during sample normalization. The PCR Setup with Normalization protocol provides flexibility for administrators to create variant methods in the Maxprep® software that specify normalization and amplification reaction setup options to meet the needs of the laboratory for PCR or STR use. When starting a method, you can indicate the input and output labware for the method and whether sample concentration data will be imported from the Portal software or a tab-delimited text file.
