Automated Genomic DNA Isolation from Blood Samples for In Vitro Diagnostic Assays

The Maxwell® CSC Blood DNA Kit is intended for use as an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) medical device. The kit is used in combination with the Maxwell® CSC Instrument and Maxwell® CSC blood DNA purification method, to perform automated isolation of genomic DNA from human whole blood samples. The purified DNA is suitable for use in amplification-based in vitro diagnostic assays.

The Maxwell® CSC Blood DNA Kit consistently purifies high-quality DNA that is suitable for use in downstream amplification assays. The intuitive interface and simple protocol improves workflow by minimizing variability and streamlining laboratory processes.

The DNA purified using this product is suitable for use in amplification-based in vitro diagnostic assays.


Maxwell® CSC Delivers Consistent Yields

Genomic DNA was purified from eight samples (300µl of whole blood) using the Maxwell® CSC Blood DNA Kit and the Maxwell® CSC Blood DNA Kit Protocol on three different Maxwell® CSC instruments. The data graphed represents the average total DNA yield for the eight samples on each of the three instruments (11.43, 11.77, and 12.78µg). The range of yields for all 24 samples was 10.8–13.8µg.

Consistent DNA concentration from Maxwell CSC Blood DNA Kit

The Maxwell® CSC Blood DNA Kit works with many anticoagulants, giving consistent yield (Panel A), Concentrations (Panel B) and high-quality output as determined by A260/A280 and A260/A230 readings (Panel C).
