Easily Quantify Antibody Titers at Every Step
During antibody therapeutics development, accurately tracking antibody concentration—or titer—at each stage is critical; it informs candidate selection, ensures consistency during process scaleup and predicts in vivo efficacy and safety profiles. Variations in titer can mask suboptimal clones, lead to costly batch failures or delay regulatory submission; yet traditional assays are often labor-intensive, prone to inter-operator variability and constrained by limited dynamic range.
The Lumit® IgG Titer Immunoassay streamlines this process with a high-throughput assay that delivers precise, reproducible measurements—from early discovery screening and clone selection through optimization of upstream expression and downstream purification. By combining sensitive detection chemistry with easy-to-interpret data, Lumit® IgG Titer Immunoassay empowers researchers to confidently compare candidates, troubleshoot process deviations and accelerate their path to the clinic.
Efficient, Sensitive and Accurate Antibody Titers
Principle of Lumit® IgG Titer Immunoassay. Detection of IgG antibodies is performed by the binding of NanoBiT®-labeled specific antibodies (i.e., Lumit® Anti-Human IgG Antibody-LgBiT and Lumit® Anti-Human IgG Antibody-SmBiT). Binding of the antibodies to the IgG promotes the reconstitution of NanoLuc® luciferase, generating bioluminescence in the presence of its substrate, furimazine.
Assay Workflow: Versatile Antibody Detection
- Broad applicability across antibody development stages
- User-friendly protocol for quicker enablement
- Easily amenable to high-throughput workflows
Lumit® IgG Titer Immunoassay Detects A Diversity of Antibodies
Lumit® Human IgG Titer Immunoassay detects multiple subclasses and isotypes. The Lumit® Human IgG Titer Assay can quantify (Panel A) all IgG subclasses and (Panel B) other human antibody isotypes. After incubation, the Lumit® Detection Reagent was added and luminescence determined in a GloMax® Discover Plate Reader.
IgG Titer technology works with a variety of non-human antibodies, including rabbit and mouse.
