Notes: The authors evaluated the Maxwell 16 instrument and paramagnetic cellulose particles for the extraction of plant DNA from 25 different plant species. They compared the results to those obtained using Qiagen's DNease plant mini kit, and a CTAB-based method. They found the Maxwell System to be a promising alternative to other technologies for plant DNA isolation.  (4564)
