The IL-23 Bioassay, Propagation Model is a bioluminescent cell-based assay designed to measure IL-23 stimulation or inhibition. The IL-23 Bioassay Cells are provided in a Cell Propagation Model (CPM) format, which includes cryopreserved cells that can be thawed, propagated and banked for long-term use. The IL-23 Bioassay consists of a human cell line engineered to express the IL-23R and a luciferase reporter driven by a response element (RE). When IL-23 binds, the IL-23R transduces intracellular signals resulting in luminescence. The bioluminescent signal is detected and quantified using Bio-Glo™ Luciferase Assay System and a standard luminometer, such as the GloMax® Discover System.
