Technical Sales Specialist

With the continuous expansion of our business, Promega Singapore Branch is currently seeking a Technical Sales Specialist who possesses a strong background in the field of life sciences. Prior sales experience within this domain is essential. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to effectively communicate and promote a wide array of highly innovative life science products and customized solutions to researchers specializing in molecular biology, cellular analysis, proteomics, and drug discovery. Demonstrating a strong drive to achieve or surpass sales targets, the individual should exhibit exceptional organizational skills and consistently contribute as a team player.

Promega places great importance on fostering collaborative relationships with customers, underscoring the significance of outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.

Roles and Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, grow and achieve revenue targets in assigned territories.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers through collaboration and consultative selling.
  • Analyze, formulate and implement key growth initiatives for new and leading technologies and products.
  • Track and report on market development activities – market trends, funding, key research initiatives and competitor activities.
  • Continual technical learning of products as they come to market and be capable of prospecting new or existing customers for new product releases.
  • Actively update and maintain their customer relationship management (CRM) database for customers in the territory.
  • Act as a company advocate and strives to incorporate Emotional Social Intelligence (ESI) principles in working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


  • BSc/MSc degree in Life Sciences with at least 1 years’ sale experience, Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Capable of learning and communicating features and benefits of highly innovative products to customers.
  • Self-motivated, determined and personable.
  • Highly organised and structured.
  • Skilled at managing time effectively and able to deliver under pressure.
  • Able to listen and respond to consumer needs, be flexible and keen to take on challenges.
