Mol. Cell. Biol. 14, 1978-1992. Interaction of the bullous pemphigoid antigen 1 (BP230) and desmoplakin with intermediate filaments is mediated by distinct sequences within their COOH terminus. 2003

Fontao, L., Favre, B., Riou, S., Geerts, D., Jaunin, F., Saurat, J.H., Green, K.J., Sonnenberg, A. and Borradori, L.

Notes: GAL4-recombinant desmoplakin (DP) domain constructs were immunoprecipitated from yeast extracts. Some immunoprecipitates were treated with Promega’s Calf Alkaline Phosphatase (CIAP). The immunoprecipitates were then analyzed by Western blotting with an anti-GAL4 antibody.  A change in the mobility of Gal4-DP was observed after CIAP treatment. J. Biol. Chem. 274, 5469-5473. Acetyl-CoA:1-O-alkyl-2-lyso-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine acetyltransferase is directly activated by p38 kinase. 1999

Nixon, A. B. , O'Flaherty, J. T. , Salyer, J. K. , Wykle, R. L.

Notes: The authors used Calf Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase to treat membrane preparations from either control- or TNFα-treated human polymorphonuclear neutrophils. Dephosphorylation of protein (Acetyl-CoA:1-O-alkyl-2-lyso-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine acetyltransferase) in microsome preps by calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase ablates increase in activity following TNFα treatment. Biochemistry 38, 5172-5177. Controlling human immunodeficiency virus type 1 gene expression by unnatural peptides. 1999

Huq, I., Ping, Y.-H., Tamilarasu, N., Rana, T.M.

Notes: The Calf Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase (CIAP) was used to 5´-dephosphorylate in vitro transcribed RNAs prior to end labeling. (0989)

EMBO J. 16, 5483-5490. Mammalian protein RAP46: an interaction partner and modulator of 70 kDa heat shock proteins 1997

Zeiner, M. , Gebauer, M. , Gehring, U.

Notes: Calf Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase was used for in vitro dephosphorylation of the RAP46 protein, and the dephosphorylated protein was assayed for interaction with various transcription factors. The TNT® Coupled Reticulocyte Lysate System was used to produce the transcription factors. The Rabbit Reticulocyte Lysate was used to aid protein refolding of heat denatured luciferase and the extent of refolding was examined with the Luciferase Assay System. (0084)
