Appl. Environ. Microbiol. 70, 2588–2595. Cloning of the authentic bovine gene encoding pepsinogen A and its expression in microbial cells. 2004

Munoz, R., Garcıa, J.L., Carrascosa, A.V. and Gonzalez, R.

Notes: In this paper, JM109(DE3) cells were transformed with pBP06, a plasmid containing bovine pepsinogen cDNA under control of the T7 RNA polymerase-inducible promoter.  It was found that the best IPTG induction conditions for the cells were 16 hours at 20°C.   (3184)

J. Biol. Chem. 278 (30), 27758–27765. Characterization of the Shewanella oneidensis MR-1 decaheme cytochrome MtrA.
expression in Escherichia coli confers the ability to reduce soluble Fe(iii) chelates.
2003

Pitts, K.E., Dobbin, P.S., Reyes-Ramirez, F., Thomson, A.J., Richardson, D.J. and Seward, H.E.

Notes: The 1kb MR-1 decaheme cytochrome MtrA gene from Shewanella oneidensis was expressed in JM109(DE3) cells. Transformed cells were grown at 37°C until they reached an OD600 of 1.0. They were then induced with IPTG overnight.  (3183)
