An All-in-One PCR Master Mix for Maximum Convenience
GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymerase reliably amplifies a wide range of PCR templates and provides high-performing results due to improved manufacturing processes, increased reliability and consistency. GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymerase also exhibits 5′→3′ exonuclease activity. The master mix formats give you maximum flexibility, control and convenience for your PCR.
GoTaq® G2 Green and Colorless Master Mixes are ready-to-use, green and colorless, 2X master mixes containing all necessary components for robust, reliable PCR. Add template, primers and go.
GoTaq® G2 Green Master Mix contains two dyes (blue and yellow) that separate during electrophoresis to indicate migration progress. Reactions assembled with GoTaq® G2 Green Master Mix have sufficient density for direct loading onto agarose gels. The colorless buffer is used when direct fluorescence or absorbance readings are required without prior purification of the amplified DNA from the PCR.

GoTaq® G2 PCR Master Mixes Produce High Yields Across Multiple Targets
Three targets were amplified with the GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymerase Green (G) and Colorless (C) Master Mixes or competitor products (L, R, T, Q, N) according to manufacturers’ recommended protocols using 3.3ng of input human DNA. GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymerase Master Mixes gave consistently high yields, while other products gave more variable results.
