The Wizard MagneSil Tfx™ System provides a simple and reliable method for the rapid isolation of transfection-quality plasmid DNA in a 96-well, high-throughput format. The use of MagneSil® Paramagnetic Particles for lysate clearing as well as DNA capture circumvents the need for centrifugation or vacuum manifolds, allowing DNA purification with the Wizard MagneSil Tfx™ System to be completely automated.

The use of MagneSil® Paramagnetic Particles for lysate clearing as well as DNA capture circumvents the need for centrifugation or vacuum manifolds, allowing DNA purification with the Wizard MagneSil Tfx™ System to be completely automated.

An automated method has been developed for use of this product with a Beckman Coulter Biomek® FX robotic workstation. This procedure requires approximately 45 minutes to process a single 96-well plate. The method can be adapted to other robotic workstations, such as the Beckman Coulter Biomek® 2000 or the Tecan Genesis® instrument.
