The MagneSil® Blood Genomic, Max Yield System provides automated high-throughput DNA purification on the Beckman Coulter Biomek® FX using MagneSil® Paramagnetic Particle technology. DNA from 96 samples of anti-coagulated human whole blood is purified in about 1 1/2 hours with no hands-on time once the robot protocol is initiated. Studies on DNA recovery and purity and PCR results show no cross-contamination between samples in adjacent wells.
