Does the Anti-HaloTag® pAb recognize the HaloTag® 7 protein?
The Anti-HaloTag® pAb (Cat.# G9281) was prepared and tested against the HaloTag® protein, which was expressed from the HaloTag® pHT2 Vector. However, Promega scientists have tested the antibody's ability to bind to the HaloTag® 7 protein, which is expressed from vectors such as the pFC14A and pFC14K (HaloTag® 7) CMV Flexi® Vectors (Cat.# G9651, G9661). The HaloTag® pAb can detect HaloTag® 7 protein in cell lysates by Western blotting. In an immunocytochemistry (ICC) experiment, this antibody detected a p65-HaloTag® 7 fusion protein stably expressed in HEK 293 cells.
