Can the Wizard^® SV and SV 96 Genomic DNA Purification Systems be used with whole blood or leukocytes?

Both the Wizard^® SV Genomic DNA Purification System and the Wizard^® SV 96 Genomic DNA Purification System are able to isolate genomic DNA from whole blood and leukocytes. For the Wizard^® SV Genomic DNA Purification System, the whole blood must be treated with 20mg/ml Proteinase K for 10 minutes and then Whole Blood Lysis solution added, mixed by vortexing and incubated another 10 minutes.
