Quantify Targeted Cell Killing with Confidence
The Bio-Glo-NB™ Luciferase Assay Systems provide a highly sensitive, robust and homogeneous reagent for the detection of cell killing in Promega TCK Bioassays. Bio-Glo-NB™ Assay Reagents contain a cell-impermeable LgBiT that complements a HiBiT-tagged protein of interest in the extracellular media, resulting in a bright, luminescent NanoBiT® luciferase. Bio-Glo-NB™ Luciferase Assay Systems are functionally tested for performance in the Target Cell Killing Bioassays and intended for use with those products.

Bio-Glo-NB™ Lytic Luciferase System: Assay Principle
The Bio-Glo-NB™ Lytic Luciferase Assay Systems are functionally tested for performance using ADCP-qualified macrophage in the Target Cell Killing Bioassays and intended for use with those products. When HiBiT expressing target cells are paired with primary macrophage and a biologic molecule, such as Rituximab, the target cells undergo antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP), which leads to degradation of HiBiT and decreased luciferase activity when LgBiT and the substrate are added.
