In Vivo Imaging Substrate
In Vivo Imaging with NanoLuc® provides high sensitivity and low background when imaged in superficial tissues and has been used successfully in deeper tissues. Our new NanoLuc® substrate optimized for in vivo imaging is available now as Early Access materials. NanoLuc® and firefly luciferases can be used together for dual luciferase molecular imaging studies in CAR-T cell therapy and other oncology treatment studies.
3D Culture
Get more physiologically relevant data out of your 3D culture samples with optimized assays for viability, cytotoxicity, apoptosis, and energy metabolism. The new Caspase-Glo® 3/7 3D Assay measures caspase-3 and-7 activities in apoptotic 3D cultures using a simple add-mix-measure protocol.
Immunogenic Cell Death
Immunogenic Cell Death in response to oncolytic viruses, combination therapeutics and other treatments is a specialized form of cell death that results in activation of the innate and adaptive immune systems to help destroy cancer cells. It’s now possible to measure two orthogonal markers of immunogenic cell death:
1. HMGB1 release with the homogeneous no-wash Lumit™ HMGB1 Immunoassay.
2. Kinetic release of extracellular ATP with our new RealTime-Glo™ Extracellular ATP Assay. View the video to see how easy it can be to measure extracellular ATP in real-time.
Bioassays for Biologics
Our functional bioassays can interrogate immune checkpoint modulation, T cell retargeting, cytokine and growth factor signaling, tumor antigen-specific cell killing, and Fc effector activity.
The new PBMC ADCC Assay provides a simple, add-mix-read format with ADCC-qualified human PBMCs, a choice of target cells expressing HiBiT fusion protein and corresponding PBMC ADCC Bioassay Kit. Learn how the assay works in this video.
T cell receptor-engineered T cell (TCR-T) and chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy are two types of adoptive T cell immunotherapy for cancer treatment. The T Cell Activation Bioassay (TCRαβ-KO) is a bioluminescent cell-based assay for measuring the potency of transgenic TCR constructs to activate T cells.
Cosmetic testing
Will this new formulation cause toxicity? Will it irritate the skin? Will it affect cellular metabolism? Is it anti-aging? To find these answers in cell-based models require the use of cell-based assays. Cell-based assays are specifically designed to uncover the biochemical pathways responsible for cosmetic compound effects. This may involve cell health, oxidative or chemical stress, energy metabolism, epigenetics and cell signaling pathways. By establishing cell-based testing in your lab, you will be prepared for the future of cosmetic testing and empowered with a deeper understanding of the underlying biology of beauty.
