The Maxprep® Liquid Handler is installed by qualified Promega personnel who will test the instrument, document installation actions and train lab personnel to successfully operate the instrument. Additionally, Promega can offer flexible, consultative Validation Services to those forensics laboratories who wish to add the Maxprep® Liquid Handler into their workflow, but who lack the resources to do so themselves.

The Maxprep® Liquid Handler extraction preprocessing setup method produced high-quality DNA extracts from different labware formats. The PowerQuant® setup generated reproducible values and standard curves, confirming reliability for DNA quantification. STR profiles were consistently obtained across a range of DNA concentrations, normalization approaches, and direct amplification samples. No cross-contamination or handling errors were observed, demonstrating workflow integrity and reliability.
The complete Maxprep® Liquid Handler process from DNA extraction preprocessing through amplification setup was confirmed to be effective across the forensic DNA workflow.
