Ask the Expert Session:
Nucleic Acid Extraction, Analysis Strategies and Pitfalls

Exhibit Hall, Co-Lab Theater #3, Booth 241
Wednesday, October 17, 3:15pm
Presented by: Cristopher Cowan, PhD Technology Manager, Promega Corporation

Success in a downstream assay is dependent on the input sample, and poor-quality DNA or RNA can lead to suboptimal results. In this session, you will be asked to choose the direction of the presentation. Discussion topics will include the role of the types of samples and target nucleic acids in the success of purification, factors to consider when increasing sample throughput, and properly interpreting the information that can be gleaned from various types of nucleic acid analyses.

Poster Presentations:

Quantitation and QC Measurements for Predicting Downstream NGS Success with FFPE and Circulating Cell-Free DNA Plasma Samples
Presented by Jenn Mook, Research Scientist, Promega Corporation
Wednesday poster session 2pm-3pm, Abstract #1809W
Automated FFPE Purification Using the Maxwell HT DNA FFPE Isolation System
Presented by Leta Steffen, Sr. Applications Scientist, Promega Corporation
