SIBBM 2015 - Frontiers in Molecular Biology

  • Molecular Biotechnology Center, Torino .
  •  Wednesday, July 1, 2015 – Friday, July 3, 2015

The main theme of the next SIBBM Seminar is From Genomes to Functions

On 2nd of July, Giuseppe Mancuso, PhD, Product Specialist Promega Italia, will give the talk “NanoBRET™: a breakthrough technology to study chromatin interactions in living cells”, which introduces the  novel technology NanoBRET™ developed by Promega, based on the new NanoLuc® Luciferase. The unique features of this luciferase combined to our HaloTag® technology leads to the possibility to create a bioluminescent resonance energy transfer (BRET) system that overcomes the limits of the traditional assays and allows characterization of protein-protein interaction in living cells system.

Here below confirmed Sessions:

  • The genome and its epigenetic modifications

  • Genomes and epigenomes: non coding RNAs

  • Molecular Interactions

  • EMBO Science Policy Lecture

  • Molecular Biology and its applications

  • Armenise-Harvard lecture
