ER & Redox Club Meeting

  • Certosa Island, Venice- Italy.
  •  Wednesday, April 15, 2015 – Friday, April 17, 2015

linda.isella@achelois.eu; marketing.it@promega.com

The event is organized since 1998 and involves a European-wide network of researchers devoted to protein folding in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), redox regulation (in particular of the ER) and (patho-)physiological consequences of ER function and malfunction. The network is informal but includes many of the most distinguished Europe based researchers (but also a few from outside Europe) in this area, including Roberto Sitia, Johannes Buchner, Ineke Braakman, Neil Bulleid & David Ron. The meetings have a great track record of leading to cross-Europe co-publications in leading journals.

The meetings are organized biannually in various European countries and in 2015 the meeting will be held in Venice.

It will have over 80 participants from 31 different groups from many different countries, within and outside Europe (from China, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Romania, Scotland, Spain & Switzerland).

Promega Italia have been invited to give a talk on the first day, April 15th.

Dr Alessandro Bosetti (TSS Promega Italia) will give the speech “Interrogating protein dynamics within living cells using protein-based reporters derived from NanoLuc Luciferase”.
