Proteomics offers greater understanding of how biological processes operate. This presentation of proteomics theory and practice is ideal for scientists who want to better understand current protein analysis techniques. This course offers an intermediate level training experience.

Course Content
This class is a three-day overview of proteomics at an intermediate level. Course topics include:

  • Protein expression (in vivo and in vitro)
  • Protein purification and sample preparation techniques (in-gel digestion, in-solution digestion and sample clean-up)
  • Preparing proteins for mass spectrometry analysis
  • Data analysis troubleshooting with pregenerated data
  • Discussion on the importance of proteomic technologies to research
