expansion of the sales and marketing teams at Promega UK we have
the following opportunity:
Product
Manager - Genomics
Product Manager to define, with input from the marketing
manager, the strategic direction of the product area / segments
in the UK and distributor markets. Total responsibility for
implementation of the defined Marketing Plan and achievement of
set goals, by segment, including the marketing mix, customer
strategies, channel strategies, product launch, promotional
plans and product life cycle management. Support of sales
activities through training of the sales team, on-site support
of sales activities and assistance in developing custom & bulk
business in responsible markets. Ongoing development of expert
knowledge regarding all aspects of the products (technical
knowledge) and the market segments (customers, competitors,
applications, technology, regulations, suppliers etc) is
essential to exploit business opportunities. An average of 40%
of time will be spent in field based activities. Responsibility
for the following product areas:

Amplification/Labelling
o
Enzymes/Nucleic Acids/Biochemicals
o
Transcription Analysis
o
