Catalog
The TGFβ2 Emax® ImmunoAssay System provides optimized reagents
and a protocol for the sensitive and specific detection of biologically active TGFβ2.
After an overnight coating of a 96 well plate, the specific protein is detected using an
antibody sandwich format. The system uses horseradish peroxidase-conjugated secondary
antibody for the final chromogenic detection of bound TGFβ2.
- Specificity: Specific detection of respective factor; less than 5% cross-reactivity with other related
growth factors (TGFβ1 and TGFβ3).
- Sensitivity: Detect at least 32pg/ml
- Standard Range: 15.6–1000pg/ml
Recommended Plate: Nunc Maxisorp™, Dynex Immulon®-4 and
Costar plates

The complete protocol is found in Technical Bulletin
#TB224.
Product Improvements
The Emax® ImmunoAssay Systems have been improved to provide
longer shelf-life and ease of use. The key improvements include newly formulated
horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugates that provide increased stability and easier
dilutions, and a new ready-to-use, single-component TMB substrate. The entire system is
now stored at –20°C for up to 6 months from the date of receipt, before thawing and
using. Once thawed the product should be stored at 4°C for up to three months.
