The Trk receptors are a family of tyrosine kinases and include TrkA, TrkB and TrkC,
each having preferred neurotrophin ligands. Anti-Pan Trk pAb (Cat.# G1581) is purified using the
EGGstract® IgY Purification System (Cat.# G2610).
- Immunogen: Fusion protein containing a peptide corresponding to amino
acids 778–790 of the cytoplasmic domain of human TrkA.
- Antibody Form: Chicken IgY provided at 0.5mg/ml as frozen liquid in
0.1M NaCl, 0.01M K2HPO4 and 50μg/ml gentamicin.
- Specificity: Recognizes amino acids 778–790 (ALAQAPPVYLDVL), located in
the highly conserved region of the Trk receptors. Recognizes and cross-reacts with TrkA,
TrkB and TrkC.

Western Blotting
Technical Literature:

ELISA
No protocols exist for cell extracts. A quality control test is performed with
the antibody at 1μg/ml for recognition of the immunogen in an indirect ELISA.
