Reverse transcriptase properties and activities can vary depending upon their
source. For example AMV reverse trancriptase is able to tolerate
much higher reaction temperatures than M-MLV reverse transcriptase.
M-MLV reverse transcriptase has less RNase H activity but is less processive compared to AMV reverse transcriptase.
