Validation of DNA typing products in a forensic laboratory is often considered a
burdensome and confusing requirement. Yet, full product validation is required in order
for DNA typing products to be accepted by regulatory agencies and as evidence in the

The purpose of the manual is to:

steps for individual forensic laboratory’s internal validation that can reduce your
