We assign expiration dates for many of our Genetic Identity Systems, including all
PowerPlex® and GenePrint® Systems. The
expiration date is three years from the manufacture date of the bulk primer pair.
In-house testing shows primer pairs to be stable for periods of at least three years.
Therefore, we place expiration dates on the kit label as well as the 10X primer
pair label. These STR systems are guaranteed for three years from the manufacture
of the bulk primer pair.
