Abstract for PhosphoCatch™ Phosphopeptide Enrichment System Technical Manual

Part# TM324
Printed in USA 10/09.
Instructions for Use of Products V1531 & V1532.

The PhosphoCatch™ Phosphopeptide Enrichment System is a fast, convenient and robust method to enrich phosphopeptides from proteins digested with proteases such as trypsin. This system contains a combination of two resins: zirconium oxide (ZrO2) and titanium oxide (TiO2). Since these metal oxides differentially enrich mono- and multiphosphorylated peptides, their individual use may result in a biased representation of the phosphopeptides in a given sample. The combination of both metal oxides in the PhosphoCatch™ Phosphopeptide Enrichment System enables a more accurate sampling of both the mono- and multiphosphorylated peptides. The enriched samples can then be analyzed using mass spectrometry methods.
