Abstract for Plexor™ Two-Step qRT-PCR System
The Plexor™ qPCR System is a novel real-time PCR system for
the quantitation of specific sequences within an RNA sample. This
system uses ImProm-II™ Reverse Transcriptase for cDNA synthesis and the
Plexor™ qPCR technology for quantitation of any type of RNA sample,
including total cellular RNA, poly(A)+ RNA or viral RNA. With this
system, a separate reverse transcription reaction is assembled, and
an aliquot of the resulting cDNA is added to an amplification
reaction. This allows multiple amplifications to be performed using
the same reverse transcription reaction.
