Abstract for Plexor™ One-Step qRT-PCR System
The Plexor™ One-Step qRT-PCR System is a novel real-time PCR
system for the quantitation of specific sequences within an RNA
sample. This one-tube, two-enzyme system uses ImProm-II™ Reverse
Transcriptase and the Plexor™ qPCR technology for quantitation
of any type of RNA sample, including total cellular RNA, poly(A)+ RNA
or viral RNA. This system does not require a separate reverse
transcription reaction. The reverse transcriptase and DNA polymerase
are both added during the initial reaction setup, and the thermal
cycler is programmed to perform the reverse transcription step,
immediately followed by the thermal cycling program.
