The Maxwell^® 16 Cell LEV Total RNA Purification Kit is used with the Maxwell^® 16 Instrument configured with the Low Elution Volume (LEV) hardware. This RNA purification procedure provides an easy method for efficient, automated purification of total RNA from the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cultured cells. The low elution volume of 30–100µl is used to generate more concentrated purified RNA for downstream applications such as qRT-PCR, RT-PCR and cDNA synthesis. The Maxwell^® 16 Instrument is supplied with preprogrammed purification procedures and is designed for use with the pre-dispensed reagent cartridges, maximizing simplicity and convenience. After cytosol processing, the instrument can process up to 16 samples in approximately 30 minutes.
