Abstract for GoTaq® PCR Core Systems
The GoTaq® PCR Core Systems I and II provide all of the
reagents necessary for the exponential amplification
of specific regions of DNA using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
The GoTaq® PCR Core Systems are supplied with GoTaq®
DNA Polymerase, a proprietary formulation of Taq DNA polymerase designed for
enhanced amplification, and GoTaq® Flexi Buffers, magnesium-free
proprietary buffer formulations supplied at pH 8.5. GoTaq® PCR Core System II provides the same reagents as System I but also includes
positive control primers and template.
Although PCR is simple in theory, it can benefit from optimization of several
parameters. This technical bulletin provides important and convenient
information about performing PCR and includes protocols and troubleshooting tips
for successful PCR amplifications. |
