Abstract for Core Footprinting System
The Core Footprinting System enables the identification of
transcription factor binding sites on a gene of interest. The system
provides a positive control DNA fragment, that contains the SV40
early promoter sequence and binding sites for the AP1, AP2 and SP1
transcription factors. The Core Footprinting System uses
DNA binding proteins to protect the binding sites in the DNA
fragment from digestion with RQ1 RNase-Free DNase (DNase I)
(Cat.# M6101).
