MSI Panels and Bins for GeneMapper 4.0 Software

To facilitate analysis of data generated with the MSI Analysis System, Version 1.2, we have created panel and bin files to allow automatic assignment of genotypes using Applied Biosystem GeneMapper® software, version 4.0. If you are using GeneMapper® software, version 3.5 or 3.7, we recommend upgrading to version 4.0. Version 4.0 includes improvements that allow analysis of mononucleotide and pentanucleotide repeats amplified by the MSI Analysis System.

Panels and bin set files are text (.txt extension) files that can be imported into GeneMapper® 4.0 software. To import panels and bin sets follow the instructions in the MSI Analysis Systems, 1.2 Technical Manual.

We recommend that all users of GeneMapper® 4.0 read the GeneMapper® Software Version 4.0 MicroSatellite Analysis Getting Started Guide available from Applied Biosystems.
