Promega manufactures products for a number of intended uses.
Please refer to the product label for the intended use statements for specific products. Promega
products contain chemicals which may be harmful if misused. Due care should be exercised
with all Promega products to prevent direct human contact.
Each Promega product is shipped with documentation stating
specifications and other technical information. Promega products are warranted to meet or
exceed the stated specifications. Promega's sole obligation and the customer's sole remedy
is limited to replacement of products free of charge in the event products fail to perform
as warranted.

product in their own research and they may transfer derivatives to others
for such research use provided that at the time of transfer a copy of this
label license is given to the recipients and the recipients agree to be
bound by the conditions of this label license. Researchers shall have no
right to modify or otherwise create variations of the nucleotide sequence of
the luciferase gene except that Researchers may: (1) clone heterologous DNA
sequences at either or both ends of said luciferase gene so as to create
fused gene sequences provided that the coding sequence of the resulting
luciferase gene has no more than four deoxynucleotides missing at the
affected terminus when compared to the intact luciferase gene sequence, and
(2) insert and remove nucleic acid sequences in furtherance of splicing
research predicated on the inactivation or reconstitution of the luminescent
activity of the encoded luciferase. In addition, Researchers must do one of
the following: (1) use luminescent assay reagents purchased from Promega
Corporation for all determinations of luminescence activity resulting from
the research use of this product and its derivatives; or (2) contact Promega
to obtain a license for the use of the product and its derivatives. No other
use or transfer of this product or its derivatives is authorized without the
express written consent of Promega including, without limitation, Commercial
Use. Commercial Use means any and all uses of this product and derivatives
by a party for monetary or other consideration and may include but is not
limited to use in: (1) product manufacture; and (2) to provide a service,
information or data; and/or resale of the product or its derivatives,
whether or not such product or derivatives are resold for use in research.

than plants. This product is not transferable. If the purchaser is not
willing to accept the conditions of this label license, Promega is willing

by Promega Corporation under license from Benitec Australia Ltd and CSIRO as
co-owners of U.S. Pat. No. 6,573,099 and foreign counterparts. For

The terms of the limited license conveyed with the purchase of this Product are as follows: All For-Profit Use of the Product, and its derivatives, modifications, components and progeny (collectively, the “Derivatives”) requires additional licensing from Promega, including without limitation: (1) use by researchers from For-Profit institutions; and (2) selling or receiving consideration in exchange for products or services that utilize the Product or Derivatives. Contact Promega regarding the details of this additional licensing. The terms of the limited license conveyed with the purchase of this Product are as follows: Researchers may use this Product, and its derivatives, modifications, components and progeny (collectively, the “Derivatives”) in their own research solely for the extracellular (in vitro) detection or determination of protease activity. Researchers shall have no right to modify or otherwise create variations of the nucleotide sequence of the circularly permuted luciferase reporter (Reporter) of the Product and Derivatives except that researchers may clone heterologous DNA sequences via addition of oligonucleotides at the site corresponding to the free ends of the linearized Product. In addition, researchers must either: (1) use reagents purchased from Promega Corporation for all (a) determinations or detections of luminescence activity, (b) extracellular transcription of DNA sequences, and (c) extracellular translation of transcripts, resulting from the research use of the Product and Derivatives; or (2) contact Promega to obtain a license for any and all other use of the Product and Derivatives including, without limitation, use in conjunction with reagents not purchased from Promega.
