Recombinant RNasin® Ribonuclease Inhibitor reliably protects your RNA samples from purification to downstream applications
- Inhibits a broad spectrum of eukaryotic RNases over a wide pH range (5-8)
- Maintains inhibitory activity over a wide range of temperatures (4-50°C)
- Compatible with many downstream applications such as cDNA synthesis, RT-qPCR, and in vitro transcription/translation
Water and buffer stocks can be a source of RNase contamination. Several stocks from an RNase-free zone in an academic lab showed RNase activity. Recombinant RNasin® Inhibitor protected all RNA samples from degradation. See Full Experiment
Kanamycin Control RNA was reverse transcribed and amplified using the Plexor® One-Step qRT-PCR System according to Technical Manual #TM 263. For reactions containing RNase inhibitor, 50 units were added. Products were detected using the CFX96™ Real-Time PCR Detection System and analyzed using Plexor® analysis software (V.5.6.6 BETA). Graph was generated from the following formula: 2ΔCt x 100. All reactions were performed in triplicate; error bars represent the three separate reactions. See Full Experiment
