Promega Corporation announced that Laura Francis has
been named Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
“Laura Francis brings rich experience working with both public
and private life science businesses as well as various Fortune 100
companies,” says Promega Chairman and CEO Bill Linton. “This kind of
expertise helps Promega continue best business practices for
customers and employees alike.” Before joining Promega, Ms.
Francis was the Chief Financial Officer of Bruker BioSciences
Corporation, a publicly traded life sciences company with revenues
greater than $250 million. Prior to her experience with Bruker
BioSciences Corporation, Ms. Francis was Chief Financial Officer for
venture-backed companies Nutra-Park, an agricultural biotechnology
company, and Hypercosm, a software company. Earlier in her career,
Ms. Francis was an engagement manager with McKinsey & Co., a
consulting firm, and an audit manager with Coopers & Lybrand, an
accounting firm. Ms. Francis holds an M.B.A. from Stanford
University and a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. |
