Introducing siLentGene™-2 U6 Hairpin Cloning Systems

Jolanta Vidugiriene, Ph.D., Thomas Yeager, Ph.D., Cheryl Bailey, Ph.D., Cindy Sprecher, B.S., and Doug Storts, Ph.D.
Promega Corporation

The siLentGene™-2 U6 Hairpin Cloning Systems (Human) are designed for convenient and rapid expression of short hairpin siRNA sequences in human cells. These systems allow PCR-generated products to be directly transfected into cells for rapid screening of multiple siRNA target sequences. Once selected, the optimal target sequences can be subcloned into a predigested psiLentGene™ Basic Vector for transient suppression of your gene of interest or into vectors with a choice of antibiotic resistance markers (neomycin, hygromycin or puromycin) for long-term stable gene suppression.
