Genetically modified organisms (GMO) are being used in the production of food for human
consumption. GMO technology can be used to introduce resistance of crops to pathogens and
herbicides as well as changing the nutritional content of food. Isolation of DNA from
various foods presents a unique set of challenges. Here we introduce and demonstrate the
robust and easy-to-use Wizard® Magnetic DNA Purification System for Food
(Cat.# FF3750).
