The Wizard® PureFection System contains high-capacity DNA
binding particles that allow up to 1mg of plasmid DNA to be recovered from a typical
maxiprep. In this article, we highlight a number of simple steps that influence plasmid
yield, allowing for the full capacity of the system to be utilized as well as discussing
"biomass" of bacterial cultures.
