Death CheckTM Assay
Systems

Cell regulation is a broad and rapidly changing field of research. One area of
particular interest is the detection of programmed cell death, or apoptosis. Because
confirmation of apoptosis often requires multiple assays to be performed in tandem,
Promega has introduced three new Death CheckTM Assay Systems that use various
combinations of three popular assays for such detection - two for apoptosis and one for
viable cell detection. Here we examine these systems and their appropriate use in cell
regulation research.
