The Steady-GloTM Luciferase Assay System provides single-step quantitation of
firefly luciferase expression in mammalian cell culture with extended-lifetime
luminescence. The reagent is compatible with a broad range of culture media and is
optimized for 96 and 384 well plates. Compared with conventional reagents having
extended-lifetime luminescence, its unique formulation is more tolerant of mixing
conditions, sample evaporation and pipetting errors. Thus, the Steady-GloTM
Reagent more readily supports good assay precision, particularly when used with automated
sample handling instruments. These characteristics make the Steady-GloTM
Reagent particularly well suited for high-throughput batch analysis.
