Promega's new Wizard® Plus SV Minipreps DNA
Purification System provides highly purified plasmid DNA and offers the flexibility of
using either a spin or vacuum manifold format. The system incorporates a novel alkaline
protease digestion step allowing the use of endA positive bacterial strains
expressing endonuclease I. In this article, we demonstrate that plasmid DNA isolated using
this system is optimal for demanding applications such as automated fluorescent sequencing
and coupled in vitro transcription and translation systems.
