Purification of Fragmented Apoptotic DNA using the Wizard®
Plus Series 9600™ DNA Purification System

Fragmentation of chromatin at internucleosomal sites is
characteristic of cells undergoing apoptosis. In this update, we describe a procedure for
the isolation and quantitation of the fragmented DNA which is released from apoptotic
nuclei, using the Wizard® Plus Series 9600TM DNA
Purification System and fluorometry, respectively.
