New Approaches to DNA Fingerprint Analysis

Promega has pioneered the development of reagent systems for
DNA typing applications since 1989. In this report, we provide an overview of DNA typing
methods. We describe the advantages of short tandem repeat (STR) systems and discuss
Promega's development of DNA typing systems which provide increased accuracy and
reliability in a high-throughput format.
