Technically Speaking: PolyATtract® mRNA Isolation Systems

Patrick Burke
Promega Corporation

RNA is the central molecule for carrying out a cell's genetic instructions. The information encoded in DNA is transcribed into messenger RNA (mRNA), which is in turn translated into protein. The isolation of high quality, intact mRNA is essential to the study of cellular processes. Promega's PolyATtract® Systems provide reagents for the convenient isolation of mRNA from tissue or cultured cells, for the selection of mRNA from total RNA samples, or for generating first strand cDNA from numerous tissue or cultured cell samples.
