Promega's Wizard™ Genomic DNA Purification Kit
provides a fast and safe way to isolate genomic DNA from whole human blood. The Wizard™
Genomic DNA Purification Kit can be used with various amounts of whole blood or modified
for use in a 96 well plate format. The kit has also been used to isolate genomic DNA from
tissue culture cells, animal blood and tissues, Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria,
and yeast. Unlike traditional methods, no proteinase digestion or use of hazardous organic
solvents is necessary. High quality, high yield, double-stranded DNA can be isolated in
less than 45 minutes.
