Use of a 96 Well Format for Wizard™ Miniprep DNA Isolations

The Wizard™ Series 9600™ DNA Purification System and Vacuum Manifold provide
the necessary tools to simultaneously perform from 8 to 96 plasmid minipreps. With this
procedure, DNA yields from two different culturing procedures, including Promega's
prepackaged Quick Culture™ Bacterial Media, were found comparable. We also tested the
quality of the DNA isolated by this novel procedure in a variety of molecular biology
applications, including in vitro transcription reactions and manual and automated
sequencing reactions.
