Site-directed Mutagenesis Using the Altered Sites® II Systems

Three new Altered Sites® II Mutagenesis Systems provide several improvements
for site-directed mutagenesis. Two new vectors are available which contain appropriate
signals for protein expression in vivo and in vitro. The protocol now allows
more rapid mutagenesis and the use of a double-stranded template. Multiple rounds of
mutagenesis are possible without intermediate subcloning steps.
